Make a donation
We are the only non-profit bakery in Savannah, GA and rely on the generous donations from our community to bake up our goodness. As a 501c3 your donation is tax deductible and since we use DonorBox to collect donations, it’s also 100% secure.
Bake with us
Do you love to bake too? That’s great, because we bake a lot. As a volunteer member of our bake team we provide everything needed to help us bake up our goodness. You don’t even need to mix up the dough! Simply pop it in the oven, set the timer and you’re done.
Get our newsletter
Stay informed on all things Community Oven like events we’re attending, partners we’re supporting and things we’re baking up to support our community. We only send out our newsletter once a quarter and never share information with third parties.
Frequently asked questions
What does my donation support?
100% of your donation supports our operating costs. This includes things like purchasing ingredients for our baked goods, bags to pack up what we bake and operational expenses like fuel for our deliveries. At the end of each year we publish a full report that breaks down our operating costs.
Is my donation tax deductible?
Yes! As a 501c3 your monetary donation is 100% tax deductible. Once your donation is completed you will receive a digital receipt confirmation through for your records.
Is there a way to donate besides online?
We understand there is sometimes a hesitation to donate online. If you would like to make a donation using more traditional methods, please contact us and we’ll provide additional options.
Can I donate ingredients?
We buy our ingredients in bulk or from local vendors and are not able to accept ingredient donations at this time.
What ingredients are in your baked goods?

How do you choose your partners?
We partner with like-minded organizations with missions that support our community. This ranges from unhoused shelters, domestic violence shelters, schools, youth organizations and veterans groups. You can view a list of our partners on our partners page.
